Friday Favs: Bunny Love
Hopping in with this week’s Friday Favs! I definitely fell down a rabbit hole and channelled my inner child with this bunny-est of living rooms. One of my earliest childhood memories was a sweet moment with my dad. I was a toddler and we were leaving Spain to move back to the US. Fun, fact I spent my first 2 and half years of my life in Spain. One early morning, my dad drove us to a field at sunrise for a surprise. He told me to be quiet and wait. Channel the commercial with the little girl watching the sunset. And then what felt like a long time, hundreds of rabbits came running through the misty dew filled fields. It was spectacular! I’m so curious how my dad timed that so perfectly.
I love that one of the bunny art pieces featured below is called “Running Rabbit”. Seems a propos.
What’s even more spectacular about that memory. It wasn’t one that was ever told to me. In fact, my dad overheard me in my twenties telling that story. He came around the corner as white as a ghost and we thought something was wrong. He was in awe that I actually remembered it. He wanted me to have a special memory of Spain and never knew that I remembered. Who knew it was actually true? What a sweet moment!
So back to the bunny-est living room. Can you spot all the rabbits? Did you catch the cutest bunnies in the wallpaper? This reminds me of my mom as I got my love of interior design from my mom. She loved changing things up. Especially after midnight. I can’t tell you how many times I stubbed my toe or bumped into a piece of furniture that wasn’t there the night before.
And my mom was the best gift giver! Her love language was definitely gifts. Her Easter scavenger hunts were the BEST! And my brother, sister and I loved those Easter mornings as we scampered through the house for the clues.
Plus, my mom always gave us an Easter basket filled with our favorite candy and whatever she thought we might like. They were personal and intentional. I think she would love this living room and would have so much fun holding court in it. I can see her adding her special pieces to celebrate Spring and Easter.
Don’t you think it would translate perfectly for a little girl’s bedroom. Just swap out your favorite bed for the sofa. An ivory upholstered headboard would be perfect!
Out of the four living room options, what’s your favorite? Check back next week, I’ll share my Easter gift picks.

Friday Favs: Hello March
The weather has been all over the place this past week but next week should be a nice debut for Spring. Can’t wait! Until then, I am sharing what caught my eye this past week. I extended my no-spend January into February as we navigate some changes in our household but that does not keep me from window shopping. A little warning, I have very expensive taste and I found some beautiful things but they are a little pricey. I do have some ideas for decor and art that might not cost a fortune. Have fun browsing and let me know what you think in the commets.
These hand painted plates keep popping up in my Instagram feed. I love the green and cream but they do come in other colors. A little on the pricey side, but I think definitely worth the investment.
Looking for an inexpensive way to bring Spring indoors. Place your favorite bulbs in an old wooden crate. I purchased these at my favorite Farmer’s Market in Hillsborough, NC. But now I can update for each season!
The English Roll Arm Sofa is my all-time favorite! My first sofa ever was this style and I still have it. My oldest niece has dibs on it! This one from One Kings Lane comes in beautiful velvets and I have my eye on a color. It’s Seafoam, of course.
This is a photo I took last Spring on a visit to one of my favorite garden stores. DIY tip, take photos of things you love and then hang as art. Not completely free, but not as expensive as an original painting.
