What materials do you use?
I use 14k gold filled chains, clasps, and wire, along with freshwater pearls and carefully selected gemstones inspired by coastal light and the colors of the sea.
What is gold filled jewelry?
Gold filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold permanently bonded to a base metal. It offers the look and feel of solid gold, with much greater durability than gold plated pieces.
Will your jewelry tarnish?
14k gold filled jewelry is designed for everyday wear and is highly resistant to tarnishing. With proper care, your pieces can last for years.

Can I wear my jewelry in the ocean or shower?
While gold filled jewelry is durable, I recommend removing your pieces before swimming or showering to help preserve the life of the gemstones and maintain their natural beauty.
Will sunlight affect gemstones?
Some gemstonesālike opals and chrysopraseācan fade over time with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place when not in use.
How should I store my jewelry?
Store your pieces in a dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or jewelry box. Keeping them away from moisture and direct sunlight will help preserve their color and shine.

When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 2ā4 business days. Youāll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yesālocal pickup is available in Wilmington, NC. Details will be provided at checkout when available.
Can I shop in person?
Yes. You can find Marie & Oakley at local markets, including the Wrightsville Beach Farmers Market throughout the season.

Are your pieces one-of-a-kind?
Many designs are one-of-a-kind or created in small batches, especially gemstone pieces. Once theyāre gone, they may not return.
Will items be restocked?
Some styles may return, but many pieces are limited and made with unique stones, so availability can vary.

What length are your necklaces?
Most necklaces range from 16 to 20 inches. Exact lengths are listed on each product page.
Can I request a custom length?
In many cases, yes. If you have something specific in mind, feel free to reach out before ordering.
